Steamed Matcha Green Tea Bao Buns Recipe. One of a kind formulated recipe by Bunnie's Kitchen. Organic sweet matcha powder is mad from green tea leaves. Matcha is high in antioxidants. Must make summer recipe that adds a bit of sweeter flavor and green depth to the bun. Despite the time constraints of prepping steps, these gua baos are a perfect meal for the any season! Gua Bao originated from a province in China. "Gua Bao" in Taiwanese means "Cut - Open Bun". A fluffy, semi circular shape. I used the Chinese dumpling shape with a formation of closing the bun on top. Steady simmer the fillings when stove top gets shut off.
