Cooking With Friends- Tacos Recipe! My friends and I decided to do a ladies night cooking for dinner since we haven't seen each other in a while. Tacos were a perfect choice since there is a variety of different ways to dress the tacos. Tacos originated from Mexico during the 18th century. It was introduced to the United States during the 1900's and began fusing with American ingredients. Shredded chicken, ground beef, and mixed vegetables were the amazing fillings that we prepared. There is alot of room for creativity & bonding! Recipes below served 5 ladies with 5-6 tacos per person. Mouth watering recipes for any party, family, or friends gathering.

Prep Time: 30+ Minutes

Total: 1 hour 35 minutes


 

Ingredients:


Toppings:

  • 2 Sliced Avocados

  • Sour Cream

  • 2 Packs Hard Corn Taco Shells

  • 2 Packs Flour Tortillas

  • 3 Small Diced Tomatoes

  • Hot Sauce (Tabasco or Cholula)

  • Cooked Black Beans

  • Cilantro

  • Lime (Squeezed On Taco)


Vegetable Filling:

  • 4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil (Frying)

  • 3 Boiled Orange Sweet Potatoes

  • 1 Cup Cabbage

  • 6 Diced Mini Sweet Peppers ( 2Red, 2 Orange, 2 Yellow)

  • 2 Cloves Garlic (Small Diced)

  • 1 Tbsp Ready To Use Minced Garlic

  • Sprinkle Pink Salt

  • 2 Tbsp Adobo Seasoning

  • Sprinkle Black Pepper

  • 1 Culantro Leaf (Tiny Pieces)

  • 3 Tbsp Chives

  • 1 Cup Sliced Baby Bella White Mushrooms


Ground Beef Filling:

  • 4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil (Frying)

  • 1 Pack Ground Beef

  • 3 Tbsp Adobo Seasoning

  • Sprinkle Pink Salt

  • Sprinkle Black Pepper

  • 3 Tbsp Chives


Shredded Chicken Filling:

  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil (Frying)

  • 1 Pack Boneless Chicken Tenderloin

  • Sprinkle Pink Salt

  • 2 Tbsp New Orleans Cajun Seasoning

  • 2 Tbsp Kick'N Chicken Seasoning

  • 4 Leaves Culantro (.5 inch cut)


Coleslaw:

  • 4 Tbsp Mayonnaise

  • 1 Coleslaw Bag ( With Corn)

Green Verde Sauce:

  • 1 Jalapeno

  • 1 Lime

  • 1 Lemon

  • Honey

  • Chives

  • Greek Plain Yogurt

  • Minced Garlic (Ready To Use)

  • Olive Oil

  • Salt

  • Cilantro

*Approximate to your liking


Pickled Red Onion:

  • 1 Red Onion (Sliced)

  • 1 Cup Boiling Water

  • 1/2 Cup Vinegar (Apple Cider)

  • 4 Tbsp Granulated Sugar

  • 1 Tsp Salt

*Store in fridge at least 2 hours
